Résumé: | The advent of optical fibers marked a groundbreaking revolution in telecommunication systems, enabling high-speed data transmission and information rates per second. The integration of all-optical devices further enhanced the efficiency of these systems. In recent years, plasmonic microstructures have garnered significant attention for their potential application in telecommunications due to their ability to overcome the diffraction limit and manipulate light at the subwavelength scale. This is particularly crucial in addressing challenges faced by crystal photonic systems. Recognizing the potential of plasmonics, the objective of this thesis is to investigate and design novel plasmonic structures suitable for implementation in Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) systems, specifically as demultiplexers. The focus is on achieving the highest number of outputs and superior characteristics compared to existing works in the field, contributing to the advancement of telecommunications technology. |
