Résumé: In this work, we simulated the behavior of charged particles in a plasma initially subjected to a perturbation due to an external electric field, using the particle in Cell in 1D, neglecting the induced or external magnetic field. Therefore each particle is subjected only to the electrostatic force. We have assumed that the plasma is very dilute in order to neglect collisions between particles, and we have chosen electrons as the charges to be simulated. We explained the various stages of the electrostatic PIC1D simulation, which consists in following the movement of the particles and this by solving the Poisson equation and the motion equations. As a result, we can plot the phase diagram relating the velocities to the particles positions, the evolution of the potential, the electrostatic field and the total energy of the particles. We were able to simulate an oscillating cold plasma, a hot plasma, an electron stream and the instability of two electrons streams moving in two different directions.
