In this captivating paper, we delve into the complex world of rotors, exploring their diversity, their utility across multiple industrial sectors, and their critical implications. We review the different types of rotors, from rigid to flexible, highlighting the importance of bearings to ensure their proper operation. Next, we explore dynamic analysis with key concepts such as critical speeds, modal orbits and vibration hazards, while examining numerical aspects such as excitation sources and specific characteristics of rotor elements. Subsequently, the paper delves into the exciting world of modeling and simulation, using SolidWorks to create complex 3D parts like centrifugal impeller blades and impellers with propeller and surface loft, then employing ANSYS for in-depth analysis including modal analysis, meshing, bearing stiffnesses, as well as interpretation of results with a clear distinction between stable and unstable modes. This document thus offers a complete and detailed exploration of rotors, enriching our understanding and mastery of these essential components for numerous industrial applicationsen_US
