Abstract

this research aims to showing what extent Arabic can follow the development of medical science, through building and translating the medical term, especially the terms of biomedical engineering, and how this medical terms are transmitted mainly from English into Arabic, this without forget to mention the main characteristics of medical term. Moreover, the medical translator should satisfay some other conditions, especially the great effort and the high competences, searching carefully and continuously in medical sciences and in different topics to be familiar with in one hand, and to enrich his own medical glossary. Having the sense of communication and asking specialists in medical sciences for help in performing his translation is another condition that must be fulfilled.
