Résumé: The primary objective of the current research work is to explore how EFL teachers and students percieve the use of social media for learning purposes. The study also aims to determine the value of social media in enhancing the EFL learning process. In order to achieve these goals and answer the research questions, two questionnaires were designed and distributed to both EFL teachers and students at Tlemcen University. The findings revealed that both teachers and students have positive attitudes towards the use of social media in English learning. It was also confirmed that social media is useful in increasing students’ engagement, autonomy, and motivation, and it contribute to the development of language skills and 21st cuntury learning skills.
