dc.description.abstract | The CRI is a major public health problem and with the aging of the population and the rising prevalence of type 2 diabetes. Despite the effectiveness of dialysis in preventing death from uremia, patients with chronic renal failure have a very short life expectancy, largely related to the development of early cardiovascular disease. Management of patients with CRI should therefore include optimal CV risk reduction strategies. Our study would have the advantage of revealing a serious public health problem that alarms the following data: ● CRI is significantly related to age. ● The sex ratio was 1.24 with a slight female predominance. ● There is a relationship between heredity and the different stages of IRC. ● High blood pressure was found in 79.9% (n = 287) and only 7, 31% of them had a balanced hypertension (<130/80 mmHg). ● There is a relationship between diabetes and the stage of CRI. There is no relationship between smoking and the stages of CRI ● There is a relationship between physical inactivity and the different stages of CRI. ● In our study there is a linear relationship between body mass index (BMI) and any cause of death from a BMI of 25 kg / m2 ● There is no relationship between the occurrence of ischemic events and the different stages of CRI. ● The prevalence of LVH is gradually decreasing with decreasing renal function. ● more than half of our patients are anemic, there is a relationship between HB and the different stages of CRI. ● Hyperphosphoremia is present mainly in IRCT at a percentage of 7.24%. ● Only 7 (4%) patients with normal PTH, the remaining 96% have hyperparathyroidism. ● In our study we find that 74.9% (ie ¾) of patients with CRI have more than 5 risk factors | en_US |
