Résumé: | The use of wireless sensor networks in several areas has prompted researchers to propose energy-efficient routing protocols to ensure long network lifetime as the networks are considered energy-autonomy networks. In this work, we proposed a new routing scheme based on the clustering approach. This protocol organizes the network into clusters by considering the distance between the nodes and uses a routing scheme based on an improved greedy approach (Greedy Forwarding) to route data from a source node to the base station. This routing scheme establishes paths from clusterhead to clusterhead (CH-to-CH) until the base station, which reduces ennergy consumption and therefore increases network lifetime. |
