Résumé: | The industry uses dyes in various fields. The dyes have some toxicity to the man range of adsorbents more economical and less polluting. Five composites were prepared based on the raw and modified Maghnia bentonite and the polymers: polyacrylamide, polyethylene glycol, polyacrylic acid. The characterization of these composites was carried out by infrared spectroscopy and XRD. Bentonite and composite charges were determined by the Zeta Potential. The prepared materials are very good adsorbents for the anionic dyes (Tion Orange and Telon Blue) and cationic (Methylene Blue and Malachite Green). The adsorption rate evolves rapidly from the first minutes of contact between the adsorbent and the cationic dyes. The composites have better adsorption compared to bentonite alone for anionic dyes, especially Telon Orange, and the same adsorption as bentonite for cationic dyes. The introduction of the polymer into the bentonite does not improve the retention for the cationic dyes studied but clearly improves the retention for the anionic dyes The composite based on the poly (acrylamide) is a very good candidate for the adsorption of the orange dye Telon and Bleu de Télon compared to composites prepared based on polyethylene glycol and acrylic polyacid. and the environment.
